Hannah Porter, SPCS Class of 2014, graduated from J.H. Rose in June, 2018. She was involved in the Student Government Association, and held the role of class vice president for the last two years. Hannah was in several honor societies and clubs, and was a writer for the student newspaper ‘Rampant Lines’ for three years. Her senior year, she was a section editor for the paper as well. Outside of school, Hannah was very involved with the Young Life ministry and led the girls at Hope Middle School for two years. Hannah is attending Meredith College to further my education. She was selected as a recipient of an academic merit scholarship, as well to be a member of the Honors Program. She plans on double majoring in Child Development and Spanish, with the goal of becoming a speech pathologist. "I feel that SPCS prepared me for academics as it has established in me a strong work ethic and a determination to do well, and strengthened my faith life going into high school," Hannah writes.
