Safe Environment Training

We value our volunteers at Saint Peter Catholic School. We also value the safety of our children. We ask anyone who volunteers with children at our school (as our church asks anyone who volunteers with children through its ministry) go through what is called "Safe Environment Training." The goal is to provide our youth with safe and welcoming environments in which they can grow in a relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Starting July 15, 2024, everyone (clergy, volunteers, and staff) who entered our database in 2023 or earlier, will be asked to verify the data we have in our system. You will be contacted via email to verify your profile data and renew your safe environment training via a new online system. Please be sure your email address is correct by contacting Mrs. Blanchard, [email protected].

The online training sessions are typically offered online each month. More information is available here. In addition to the training session, volunteers will be subject to a criminal background check.

Mrs. Blanchard in the front office keeps track of volunteers needing renewal of SET certification. Please send completed paperwork to her at [email protected]. You can also email Mrs. Blanchard to check the status of your certification.
