He has maintained best friend status with Max VanCoutren and Hunter Christopher, who all attended Saint Peter Catholic School. "One of the funniest times was when I turned the light off in the bathroom on Mr. Hughes. I had no idea he was in there. Mr. Hughes and Mr. Blick were always great," he writes. "Saint Peter Catholic School prepared me for life by having God be the central part of the day. Having God as the central part of life helps you handle whatever comes your way. Having that foundation has helped me throughout and will continue as I move forward to college."
