Liam Dao, SPCS Class of 2014, is the winner of North Carolina State University’s Park Scholarship, University of North Carolina’s Morehead-Cain Scholarship, East Carolina’s University Scholars Program and University of Alabama’s Presidential Scholarship. Liam was also named a 2018 Coca-Cola Scholar and will receive a $20,000 college scholarship. He also won a $10,000 scholarship from Modern Woodmen of America and a $1,000 James L. White Scholarship. He has received awards from Greenville Humans Relation Council for his community service efforts with Paint the Drain, was recognized by YSA as an Everyday Young Hero through Youth Changing the World and was a 2017 Points of Light recipient. Liam will be attending North Carolina State University this upcoming fall as a Park Scholar. In addition, he has served as a camp counselor for Love A Sea Turtle, been an assistant coach for little league, played tennis for DH Conley and is a certified SCUBA diver.
