Supporting SPCS

The United States Council of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) says Catholic schools are important for not only their students but society as a whole and the future of our Catholic church. Saint Peter Catholic School has been building the leaders of tomorrow upon the foundation of Jesus Christ since 1946.
The Catholic bishops of the United States have stated “the entire ecclesial community...is called to value ever more deeply the importance of this task and mission, and to continue to give it full and enthusiastic support.” Saint Peter Catholic School helps our students realize the fourfold purpose of Christian education. We  provide an atmosphere in which the Gospel message is proclaimed, a community in which Christ is experienced, a school where service to our sisters and brothers is the norm, and a place where thanksgiving and worship of our God is cultivated.
The Laurel Walsh Annual Fund bridges the gap between the cost to operate our school and what our annual tuition income does not cover. Your generosity is the primary way we can keep the cost of a Catholic education affordable.

This year’s Laurel Walsh Annual Fund goal is $50,000.  Whether you give $5 or $5,000, every gift strengthens our school, our students, and our future in countless ways.

We truly believe, “for where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.” (Matthew 6:21) We invite you to designate your gift to what means the most to you:
  • Academics: Your donation will sustain our rigorous curriculum and ensure a firm foundation in faith, work ethic, independence, and service.
  • School’s Greatest Needs: Donations designated for the school’s greatest needs go toward a variety of uses including technology and classroom needs, and tuition assistance.
  • Other: If there is something you are passionate about, you can direct your donation to a specific purpose.

SPCS is listed on Amazon Smile.  That means when you shop on Amazon, Amazon will donate a portion of the proceeds from your purchase to our school.  Here's how:
1.  Go to Smile.Amazon.com
2. Search for "Saint Peter Catholic Church and School"
3. Select "Saint Peter Catholic Church and School"
4. Go to Smile.Amazon.com every time you want to order something from Amazon to ensure the school benefits from your purchase.

Use the Amazon mobile app?  It's not as seamless as using the website on a desktop, but it's not difficult either.  Use your browser on your phone or tablet to go to smile.amazon.com.  Sign in there to use Amazon Smile and benefit our school.  You can also make your life easy by tapping the button on the bottom of the screen that has a square and an arrow coming out of the top.  Then select "Add to Homescreen."  That will create a shortcut on your phone or tablet, that will work just as well as the traditional Amazon app.

Box Tops for Education

Box Tops for Education is another way to help our school.  Several food items purchased at grocery stores include the Box Top logo.  While these used to be clipped out and sent into school, it's now a digital program. https://www.boxtops4education.com/
