Students of our middle school robotics and computer-aided design group, which meets on Thursdays and Fridays, are currently designing cruciform ground plan churches for 3D printing with Tinkercad on their iPads. A Tinkercad model by 6th grader Hank Getz and the resulting 3D print appear below.
Seventh grade Art Tech students have recently been designing cross pendants with the Tinkercad computer-aided design app on their iPads. They have developed their own unique designs after learning techniques for working with this engineering software. Shown below are a selection of 3D prints of designs by seventh graders. These 3D printed crosses can be worn on a string or thin chain.
