Diocese of Raleigh Virtual Learning Option
Saint Peter Catholic School is not offering virtual learning for the 2021-2022 academic school year. If you are interested in learning more about 100% Catholic virtual school, please read the following from the Diocese of Raleigh:
Parents interested in remote learning for their student(s) will have a virtual learning opportunity for the 2021-22 school year. The Diocese of Raleigh Office of Education would like to gather information from parents regarding their interest in a 100% Catholic virtual school beginning mid-August 2021. This school will be administered by the Office of Education in partnership with a virtual school vendor. Enrollment would be through the Office of Education and the school will not have a physical campus. If you currently have children attending a Catholic school that will be offering a remote learning opportunity for the 2021-22 school year, enrollment in the Office of Education virtual school will not be an option.
Classes are generally offered between the hours of 11am – 2:30pm and may include other Catholic school students from other cities and states. As this is a 100% virtual school, there would be no option for changing enrollment from 100% virtual to a physical Catholic school during the school year. Because the program is virtual, there will be no extra-curriculars, sports or school events or programs.
Basic tuition for the Diocese of Raleigh Virtual School will be*:
· Elementary grades K-5 $6,050/year
· Middle school grades 6-8 $6,790/year
§ Middle school electives (in addition to one offered in the standard schedule – additional electives may be available for $500 per course/per semester (2 semesters per year = $1,000)
