Admissions

For more than 70 years, Saint Peter Catholic School has offered a premiere education.  Our program runs from PreK 3 through 8th grade.  

Saint Peter Catholic School is a Roman Catholic non-profit, co-educational school.  Application for admission is open to all students regardless of race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, and disability that possess the motivation, ability, and character that would enable them to succeed in a rigorous academic environment. We welcome all applications.

Admissions Timeline 

  • November 3: Fall Open House
  • December 1: Application fee increases from $25 to $35
  • February 1: NC Opportunity Scholarship priority application period begins –

  • February 4: Screenings for Kindergarten Applicants (each family will be assigned a time)
  • February 10: Screenings for Pre-K 4 Applicants (each family will be assigned a time)
  • February 24: Screenings for Pre-K 3 Applicants (each family will be assigned a time)
  • Students who are unable to come to their assigned time may request another date.  
  • Students who apply after the above screening dates will be assigned a later date. 
  • March 1: Deadline for FACTS Grant and Aid application to be considered for tuition assistance from Saint Peter Catholic Church
  • March 1: Application fee increases from $35 to $45
  • Applicants for grades 1-8 will have screenings scheduled on an individual basis

Admissions Process

  • Schedule a Tour
  • Schedule a Shadow Day (optional)
    • Monday, February 24, 2020 is the next upcoming Shadow Day.  Shadow Days are not available to Pre-K applicants.
    • Submit academic records: applicants for grades 1-8 should submit their most recent report cards and standardized test scores (if applicable) to admissions@spcsnc.net.  
  • Entrance Assessments
    • PreK Applicants will be given an appointment for a screening with other children on March 31.
    • Kindergarten Applicants will be given an appointment for a screening with other children on March 10, 11 or 12.  
    • Applicants for grades 1-8 will have screenings scheduled on an individual basis
