Morning Drop-off and Afternoon Dismissal Traffic Flow
For the safety of all, please do not cell phones during drop-off and pick-up. Please follow state laws regarding yielding to pedestrians in crosswalks. We know the morning is a busy time, but please be charitable with your patience and understanding that sometimes little feet don’t move as quickly as we would like them to move.
Please use the "stop and drop" method on Fourth Street in front of the school.
When you see an open spot on the curb, stop your car, let your child out, and drive away.
Please do not park on Fourth Street in front of the school between Beech and Brother Patrick. If you want to walk your child to the school, please park in the church parking lot or one of the marked parking spots on the street in front of the church office on Beech Street or in front of the Rectory (priest’s house) on Fourth Street.
Brother Patrick Drive is available to families dropping off students in grades K-2. The volunteers will begin helping children out of cars at 7:45 am. Traffic flows from Fourth Street south to Fifth Street. Please turn right onto Fifth Street from Brother Patrick Drive.
PreK parents are asked to park in the church parking lot and escort their child to the PreK back door.
Please have either the Parent Pick-Up sign (given to new families at the start of this year and given to returning families at the start of last school year) OR put your child's name in large letters on a piece of paper. A sign with your child's name is needed whether you do drive-up or walk-up. Signs are not needed if you are picking up a child from After School.
Drivers who are picking up students at the elementary school dismissal time of 2:55 pm should line up on Fourth Street in front of the school. The line will extend past Brother Patrick Drive. Please do not block the driveways of our neighbors on the south side of Fourth Street.
Drivers getting students at the 3:10 pm Middle School dismissal time should begin lining up on Fourth St. at the corner of Sycamore St. Please put on your hazard/flashing lights to indicate to other drivers that you are in the Middle School line. At 3:05 pm, the first cars in that Middle School line may pull up to Brother Patrick Dr. (but please do not block Brother Patrick). At 3:10 pm, the cars in the Middle School dismissal line may pull up to the front of the school.
Need another Parent Pick-up Sign? You can get replacement or additional Parent Pick-up signs at the front office. The signs cost $2. Every family gets the first one free, courtesy of our HSA, but additional or replacement signs are sold for the amount they cost to produce.
We recommend printing out these handy Printable Traffic Flow Maps.
Students at Saint Peter Catholic School may bring their own lunch or purchase it from the cafeteria. We use Aramark as our food service provider. Ms. Hope lovingly prepares lunch each day for our students who opt to buy lunch.
If you would like to order food for your child, please print the menus, circle/highlight the meals you would like to purchase for them, and send in a check with payment. All meals cost $4.25.
